The green festival goer: powered green

The next few in this series of blog posts applies to both the die-hard, take your own clobber festival goer, as well as the travel-light festival goer who has both the money and the sense to take the luxury camping option that doesn’t involve carting all the heavy stuff yourself.

Keep yourself in the manner to which you have become accustomed by making sure that you have lights and power. Generated in an eco-friendly manner of course.

freeloader1.jpgYou’ll need a Freeloader portable solar charger to keep your phone, digital camera, handheld game console and your mp3 player charged while you’re at the festival.

Freeloader produces power with it’s solar panels and then powers your devices to keep you fully operational wherever and whenever. It is housed in a tough aluminium body to keep it safe while you’re being adventurous.

sherpa-freeplay-torch.jpgTo avoid being tripped up by rogue guy ropes in the dark, and for finding the loos, a torch is essential. Keep it eco-friendly by getting yourself one of these wind-up Sherpa Freeplay torches, with two brightness settings and the capability of being charged by AD/DC power before you go. But when you run out of charge all you need to do is wind to get the lights back on.
