Get more exercise

yoga.jpgMy second resolution for 2008 is to get more exercise, apparently that’s the most common New Year’s resolution of the UK population. I’m going to be increasing my activity levels by leaving the car at home more often and walking or cycling to my destination, and also by ramping up my yoga practice.

Yoga can reduce anxiety, stress and depression, and has also been shown to reverse metabolic syndrome changes. If you haven’t decided yet about how you’re going to be improving your health in 2008, why not get yourself a yoga video (or even better find a local class), kit yourself out in some organic yoga wear and go for it!
