My Own Morph
This is a blast from the past. What a joy it was to find the My Own Morph toy. It brings back so many great memories from when I was a child sitting in front of the television at teatime watching Take Heart. It was one of those programs that you never missed. We didn’t have the 200+ channels that are available today, all we had were four. Tony Hart would create these fantastic things that we could all have a go at doing ourselves.
As part of that program there was an animated section called Morph. Morph was a Plasticine character who lived in a wooden art box. He was created by the world famous, Oscar winning studios of Aardman. Now it’s your chance to own this great little character. My Own Morph will bring a smile to the face of anyone who can remember it on the television. So what do you get in the kit? There are 3 blocks of terracotta-coloured Plasticine and 5 fun accessories; a cricket bat, wizard’s hat, skateboard, beard and comic book. You will also get an instructional DVD with 15 Morph adventures on it. That’s quite a treat in my book.
The really special aspect of the My Own Morph kit is the fact that you have to create and build your own Morph. There are no moulds at all. You have to use your own skill to recreate the famous character. You could also buy some white Plasticine and create Morph’s friend, Chas.
There are hours of fun to be had with the My Own Morph kit. And it costs under £15, which is a real treat.

Universal Remote Control
If you are anything like me you have too many remote controls for various devices and gadgets. I had a count of how many remotes I have and it totalled 5. That seems like a lot to me. The solution to all the clutter is to get a Universal Remote Control.
Having one remote to operate several devices seems like a good solution to me. I don’t know how many times I’ve been unable to locate a particular remote. The convenience of having a Universal Remote Control are vast. Replacing all your remotes with one is obviously the most prominent benefit. Costing a tiny amount over £25 the Universal Remote Control is going to be of use to any true gadgeteer. Obviously there will be some devices that you will not be able to operate with the Universal Remote Control, but it is a tiny amount. Having a learning mode is another plus point to owning the Universal Remote Control. You can teach it any functions of your original remote control.
The Universal Remote Control will operate up to 5 devices, which is perfect for me. The Universal Remote Control is going to make your life so much easier. No longer will you have to be surrounded on the sofa by a mountain of remotes.
This is one gadget that is going to make your life easier on a daily basis, and I hope that all the gadgets I mention will do this in some way. You will see the benefit of owning a Universal Remote Control from the first time you use it. Definitely highly recommended.

Mood Beams
Mood Beams are great. There is a certain curious appeal to the Mood Beams that you don’t get with other mood lights.
I must warn you now that these are highly addictive and highly collectable. There are eight different Mood Beams available, each with a different facial expression. Mood Beams emit a range of hypnotic colours which can be cycled at five different speeds: Heartbeat, Rainbow, Strobe, Colour Dance and Colour Hold.
The Mood Beams are battery operated, so you can take them practically anywhere with you, which is a good thing because you won’t want to let them stray from your side. I can’t quite put my finger on why the Mood Beams are such a joyous gadget to have. They’re just comforting and relaxing to look at. The Mood Beams cost under £10 to purchase, so they’re a real bargain.
Having one of the Mood Beams in your possession is definitely a positive thing. You honestly won’t know how you ever managed without one. They’re so portable and cute and practical to have around. You can use them in loads of different situations, For instance, if you’re safety conscious, you could use them instead of candles to create a relaxing mood in the bath or bed room.
With the Mood Beams you’ll never feel alone again.

Geyser Tube
The Geyser Tube is nothing more than a novelty toy really, but a novelty toy that will provide you and your friends hours of fun and frolics. The Geyser Tube will transform any fizzy drink bottle into a fountain of bubbles and fizz.
The Geyser Tube is not going to cost you the earth either, coming in at under a fiver. You will obviously have to buy the fizzy drink too.
Not only do you need the Geyser Tube and some fizzy pop, you also require some fresh mint sweets. Instructions aren’t really needed for the Geyser Tube really. All you need to do is screw the Geyser Tube on to the fizzy pop bottle and load the mints in to the tube and voila, you’re ready to create a huge geyser. There’s a handy little tab on the bottom of the Geyser Tube to stop the mints falling in to the fizzy pop before you are ready.
These geysers are not for the faint of heart; some of them can reach 30ft high! That’s pretty impressive in my book. The Geyser Tube works best with diet cola drinks, but will work with pretty much any fizzy pop.
All you’ll need after a few hours of playing with the Geyser Tube is someone to clean up all the sticky mess that will be left behind.

Flying alarm clock
Do you have trouble getting up in the morning? Well worry no more. The Flying alarm clock will solve your problem. Actually, you’ll not have a choice but to get up.
With the Flying alarm clock you have to get up in order to stop it. If you’re like me and love your duvet then the Flying alarm clock is the perfect alarm clock for you because of this.
I’ve always struggled to get up in the morning, and it is no different today. I used to have a wind up one, but I would forget to wind it up. Then there was the time I got decided to use my mobile as an alarm, and forgot to charge it…. need I go on…
I suppose you’re wondering why this alarm clock is called the Flying alarm clock. The reason it’s called the Flying alarm clock is simple really. When the alarm goes off, the propeller part flies off and the alarm rings… and rings…. and rings…. In fact, it will continue to ring until you get out of your bed and replace the propeller in the base. Only then will it stop ringing.
Trust me when I say that it’s infuriatingly annoying when you can’t find the propeller. And never, ever place it anywhere near an open window… The milkman doesn’t need to see you in your PJ’s.
Costing under £15, the Flying alarm clock is the ideal solution for the stubborn. And it’s great for students too, provided they remember to plug it in to the electricity supply.

PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter
Owning a real helicopter can be an expense most of us can’t afford. So the PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter is the next best thing. Small enough to fit in your hand, the PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter is one of those gadgets that you’ll love straight away. The PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter is made from strong foam so those little accidents you may have whilst learning to fly it won’t damage it.
The PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter is controlled via infra red. This might not be the ideal solution in my opinion, but it works well. Charging the PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter takes about 30 minutes and in return you’ll get approximately 10 minutes of flying time.
The PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter has an impressive range of up to 30 feet! More than enough to chase the cat around.
Costing under £20, you’re hardly going to break the bank buying the PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter, and buy it you should.
You’re going to absolutely love playing with the PicoZ Apache Micro Helicopter because of its simplicity. Once you’ve mastered the controls you’ll be zooming around the living room like a pro. Planning your imaginary raids on the sweets on the coffee table, and swooshing over your mates’ heads.

Nintendo DS Lite
Today I received a Nintendo DS Lite. I had reservations about getting it to be honest, having owned a Sony PSP in the past. I used the PSP for a while, then the novelty wore off.
The Nintendo DS Lite will be different I hope. The ability to play Nintendo GameBoy Advance games on it is obviously an added bonus. Incidentally, I got the black version of the Nintendo DS Lite.
When I get a new gadget through the post I’m like a child at times. I get really impatient waiting for the post, then there’s pure joy and elation when the gadget arrives. Today was no different. The postman was late this morning too, prolonging my torture. But, when he did arrive, it was pure joy. The Nintendo DS Lite is a beautiful gadget, and I’m sure I’ll make a lot of use of it. Obviously in order to use the Nintendo DS Lite to its full advantage you need some games. I overlooked that minor point, but have place an order for the brain training games. I also have GameBoy Advance games, so all it not lost.
If you haven’t got one of these, you really should get one. I know it’s going to be extremely useful for me on my long train journeys.

Wind Up Dynamo Eco Friendly Mobile Phone Charger
The Wind Up Mobile Phone Charger is great for people who like the great outdoors, or who just want to save energy and lower their electricity bill slightly.
The Wind Up Mobile Phone Charger is a handy little gadget to have around the house. It’s also very simple to use, lift the handle and turn it in either direction to get the power flowing. The Wind Up Mobile Phone Charger will give you a 12 volt supply, which is good for not just charging mobile phones, but any device that uses up to 12 volts.
I’ve written about a solar charger in the past, but I recommend you get both. You can use the Wind Up Mobile Phone Charger indoors, which has obvious advantages over solar powered chargers. Having the Wind Up Mobile Phone Charger around means that you don’t have to worry about not being close to an electricity supply. You can create your own. This gadget will definitely compliment the solar charger I wrote about.
The Wind Up Mobile Phone Charger would be ideal for campers or caravan owners. It would also be advantageous to have if you own a boat, or even in the glove compartment of your car.
It costs under £22, so not too pricey. I believe that the quality of this gadget will more than justify the cost.

Thinking Putty
I suppose we all have moments when we get a mental block. Thinking putty is quite unique because you can stretch it, bounce it, tear it, make it drip and even shatter it. It is perfect for stress relief, and we all get a bit stressed sometimes. The Thinking putty is perfect for the office or home, even students can make use of it.
In all honesty I can’t think of any practical use for the Thinking putty. I do know however that it does pass the time quite nicely. It can even help those grey cells get working again by giving them a rest for a while. Everyone needs to take a break from the daily grind and Thinking putty is ideal for that. It definately is great fun.
Give it as a gift to the stressed out members of your family. Costing less than £7 it is the ideal novelty gift to give.
The Thinking putty comes in a variety of colours. There are even magnetic and glow in the dark versions of the Thinking putty.
Christmas is just around the corner, so why not start getting those stocking fillers in now. Kids and adults alike will love playing with the Thinking putty. I promise you, you’ll not be able to put it down.

Toastabags
It’s getting close to that time when students are starting or going back to University. Students are notoriously bad cooks; well quite a few of them are anyhow. But most of them know how to use a toaster, so what better gadget to get for them than some Toastabags.
These miraculous little bags cook food in a toaster. Yes, you read correctly, they cook food in toasters. Isn’t that great?
So what can you cook in the Toastabags I hear you ask. Well, quite a lot actually. You can cook toasted sandwiches, burgers, beans, scrambled eggs, fish fingers and even oven chips. I think that these are a godsend because you don’t really have to think that much with them. Grab the bag, put what you want to cook into it, stick it in the toaster then eat. What could be easier?
You can also re-use the Toastabags too. They’re easy to clean and dishwasher safe too. Much more economical than getting all those pots and pans out to make a meal, right. At only £6.95 you could buy two and utilise both slots of the toaster at once, which will in turn save electricity. Not only do they cook your food, they save you energy and money. Money you can use for more important things like course books or materials.
You’re not going to become the next Jamie Oliver with the Toastabags, but you can be safe in the knowledge that you won’t go hungry.
