Accessorise with style - beads
I love accessories and the way that they can turn a very ordinary outfit into something very special. If you have a good basic outfit, you can accessorise in many different ways and have a whole range of different looking outfits. For every day wear one of my favourite accessories is a string of beads. Big bold and chunky beads, delicate and sparkly beads, long strings, short strings and multi strands. The beauty of beads is that they look great with even the plainest and simplest of t shirts, in fact I think they often look best with a very simple top. They are also a great way to add a shot of colour to a black or neutral outfit.
This chunky ocean bead necklace will look great with blue, navy, burgundy and grey tops. The short style multi strand style and silver coloured beads add a bit of sparkle and glamour for every day without looking like you have tried too hard.
This chunky zebra print rope necklace makes a real style statement. It would look great with either black or white clothes or for a really eye catching outfit try teaming with neon pink, bright orange or green.
This multi faceted bead collar necklace is very striking expecially when worn with a black top. It adds a sixties feel to anything from jeans and t shirt to a shift or mini dress.
This multi strand silver and swarovski crystal necklace would look amazing and definitely add some glitz to a grey top. It would look equally good with a little black dress for the evening.

High Impact Jewellery
This seasons black and minimalism acts as a great backdrop for some seriously high impact jewellery. The gothic trend is key to a lots of this seasons jeweelery with chokers to rosaries and crucifixes all featuring. Forget less is more when it comes to jewellery, pile on loads of chains or bracelets. Oversized jewellery is also a big trend with chunky beads and giant cuffs.

At Alexander McQueen, jewellery was historical with ellaborate jewelled chokers and drop earrings perfectly complimenting the historically inspired clothes.

At Givenchy, Black leather and polo neck jumpers were accesorised with lots and lots of chains and crucifixes.

At Louis Vuitton the look was polished and sophisticated. With neutral greys and blues set of by metallic looking chunky glass bead necklaces.

At Dries Van Noten, lovely glossy bead necklaces seet off the colourful clothes beautifully.
