My absolute favourite part of writing a fashion blog is finding and writing about the latest rising stars or up and coming fashion designers. Ann Valerie Hash is definitely one of those that I will be keeping my eye on. She has designed for Chanel, Nina Ricci and Chloé before starting her own ready to wear label in 2001. The label is very much a well kept secret with a strong emphasis on wedding dresses and smoking jackets. She has definite set of international followers who love her contrast of masculine and feminine.  

For her Spring Summer 09 ready to wear collection, she showed a very promising line up made of ten individual looks. The looks  which referenced many different areas noticeably ancient Greece included draped dresses, structured jackets and short dresses. There were also chain mail dresses that left very little to the imagination. My favourite pieces were those with the necklines made of twisted fabrics and of course the very graceful and elegant asymmetrical dress.
