Jil Sander for Uniqlo
Jil Sander was signed up as the creative director at Uniqlo in March and ever since this was announced I have been looking forward to seeing her collection this autumn. The Japanese brand Uniqlo is known for its trendy but very affordable basics for men and women including jeans and cashmere jumpers sold in their stores around the world. The Jil Sander aesthetic fits in well with the brands clean and minimalist clothes and the mass market collection is likely to be priced at a much lower level than the usual Jil Sanders collection. Jil Sanders became really popular during the eighties and nineties for her luxurious minimalist clothes. She will now be in charge of all clothing at Uniqlo but most attention is sure to go to the line she is designing +J.

For a more exclusive piece of Jil Sander clothing, I love this Jil Sander top.
