Latest UK Releases (From 29th March)

This is a bit late this week because I’ve been really busy, but better late than never right?

Anyway, this week was one of those weeks where nothing really special comes along. There are no big hitters, unless you count Wanted: Weapons of Fate and Ninja Blade as two. That’s pretty much it though, but that doesn’t mean all the other games are bad, it just means they’ve not been part of the hype machine.

All the games below should already be in the shops.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate (PS3, Xbox 360)

Weapons of Fate

Coming so long after the film it’s based on it’s hard to see how Wanted: Weapons of Fate can garner much attention. Only time will tell how such a big stretch has affected sales, but the game’s aim is to build upon the film. Of course, new story is also complete with curving bullets!

Ninja Blade (Xbox 360)

Ninja Blade

Microsoft describes it as a “cinematic action game” featuring designs from Keiji Nakaoka, who brought us Lost Planet. It may share similarities with Ninja Gaiden, but this hack-and-slash game is a decent game in its own right.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask (Wii)

Majora’s Mask

It may not be the best Zelda game in the series, but it’s up there near the top. The excellent Majora’s Mask is getting a re-release on the Wii’s virtual console. If you’ve never played, or just want to relive the old days, then now is the time to pick it up.

Disgaea DS (DS)

Disgaea DS

Nippon Ichi’s massive tactical RPG is getting a release on the DS, meaning that you can suck more of your life away while you’re on the move. New features include randomly generated items and unlockable characters.
