One of the rules of blogging is to never make a post apologising for not posting for a while. Got that? Well, I’m now going to break that rule.

I feel I must apologise for not posting over the last week, as common manners dictate that I should let my readers know when I’m going to take a little break. Unfortunately it was a bit unpredictable, as I came down with a bug that I’m still suffering from now. So, unfortunately, the posts that I have been working onhave remained unfinished - even when I dragged myself out of bed to try and complete them.

Thankfully, even though I still feel horrible, they’ll be no more of that as I’m now back to my regular blogging schedule. Over the next week ButtonSmasher will be helping you gear up for Christmas by posting Christmas shopping guides for all those of you that have absolutely no idea what games you’re going to buy your loved ones. I’ll be bringing you guides to the best games for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, portables and the PC. Most of all I hope it will give you a little relief from the stress we all experience around this time of year.

So, look forward to that!
